Something Divine

There is something divine evident
When two turn and attend to each other
A shared moment in God’s Mind perhaps
Or only talk of the weather
Yet so much more divine are these moments spent
Outside the mundane, alongside one’s path
When two realize their own simple Unity
No longer do things pass between them
But rather all that they are and ever will be lingers
Whole, as One
As if Time is only a bad dream
That together they have overcome
So that Always no longer means something to come
But only whatever is forever now and forever new
Shared by two who alone perhaps never knew
How Soul is not a possession but the Presence of Love within.
